A lady walks into Tiffany's. She looks around, spots a beautiful diamond bracelet and walks over to inspect it. As she bends over to look more closely, she unexpectedly farts. Very embarrassed, she looks around nervously to see if anyone noticed her little "whoops" and prays that a sales person was not anywhere near.

As she turns around, her worst nightmare materializes in the form of a salesman standing right behind her. Good looking as well as cool as a cucumber, he displays all of the qualities one would expect of a professional in a store like Tiffany's.

He politely greets the lady with, "Good day, Madam. How may we help you today?"

Blushing & uncomfortable, but still hoping that the salesman somehow missed her little 'incident', she asks, "Sir, what is the price of this lovely bracelet?"

He answers, "Madam, if you farted just looking at it - you're going to shit when I tell you the price."

Sonia Rykiel. is. a. genius.

It was a cosmic trifecta. I was looking through old post and old purchases thinking how I loved Sonia's 40th anniversary run-way show tribute SO much and how my rainbow knits make me SOO happy even in the (getting) cold mornings. Then while perusing books with my dad on Saturday afternoon, I fell in love with the giant Sonia (night-stand not coffee-table worthy) bible. Today I awoke from the buzzing of my phone, a equally obsessed friend letting me know that Sonia will be the next H&M collaborator.

i took a little trip with my mum to the us open to catch a glimpse of our favorite hunk (safin) who was playing his last grand slam.

the first day started with us crouched in the bushes sneaking a peak through the cracks in the fence. nadal and safin practicing together. oh boy

we knew then that this was going to be a trip like no other.

the next day we arrived at flushing meadows at 9 to get good seats.

just so happen that safin was there early practicing once again, but this time at the louis armstong stadium. there was no crouching tiger this time.

after we watched him front row practicing for a bit, i called him over "safin" he smiled and came over. i grabbed his hand and said good luck, he smiled once again and asked me if i wanted one of his balls. i melted in soup. he was so sweaty and delicious looking.

along with our lover we caught a doubles match with the williams sister.

This is the best collaboration i've seen since this one

Pendleton, a west coast staple label has teamed up with the best in the east, NY's Opening Ceremony, and the results are amazing jackets,wool suits, and even shoes composed of Native American prints.

Independently they both do the blanket very well.

For Pendleton my favourite are the spirit blankets.

And OC's towels make me wanna convert my cement based front yard space into a sun-soaking spot.

On my walk home from this art event, I passed by a meshugana hat store that is closing it's doors after 75 years. They are selling off different varieties of high quailty (and a little dusty) hats for dirt cheap. It's on the east side of Spadina just south of college and north of queen, can't recall the exact address but it's worth a little hunt. Sadly, they are closing their doors on Tuesday so you must act fast. xo
